EL PASO REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES THE ADDITION OF ANGELA FERNANDEZ, DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH
El Paso, Texas – October 14, 2008 – Bob Cook, President of the El Paso Regional Economic Development Corporation (REDCo), is pleased to announce the addition of Angela Fernandez to the REDCo team. Fernandez has assumed the position of Director of Research, and will be responsible for the collection and interpretation of data that will be used to recruit new business and industry to the region. “We are fortunate to add another talented native El Pasoan to the team”, said Bob Cook, President of REDCo. “Angela impressed every member of our staff during the interview process with her intelligence and maturity. Angela also possesses a brilliant mind for business which will contribute greatly to our efforts.”

I intend to use my qualifications and experiences to contribute to a team that is making a difference in our community,” Fernandez said. Fernandez holds a BBA in Entrepreneurship and International Business from Baylor University. Before joining REDCo, she worked as a business development consultant for USCN Sourcing in Shanghai and Shenzhen, China and was an independent contractor for Genesis 21 in El Paso. She has also served as a product development assistant at Ameri-tech Dist, Inc.
