Diablos one of three first teams in nation to sell ownership of team to fans
Sales of team shares to benefit the Miracle League of El Paso

El Paso – Sports fans have long held the dream of owning a sports team. Now with the arrival of iTeam Sports, fans can make that dream a reality by actually buying and owning a piece of the El Paso Diablos, while simultaneously supporting the children of El Paso’s Miracle League.

iTeam Sports and the Diablos are hosting a ‘Buy a piece of the Diablos’ event to benefit The Miracle League of El Paso. It will take place at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino Saturday, November 22nd, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Visit us throughout the Grandstands area for several giveaways, which will include free 2009 Diablos game tickets, free Diablos merchandise, a chance to win a free share of the Diablos, and much, much more. Partaking in the festivities will be Field Manager Butch Henry and several of El Paso Diablos players.

"Teaming up with the El Paso Diablos in this new venture is a win-win for our players at the Miracle League,” said Sandie Olivar, Executive Director of El Paso’s Miracle League. ”It just makes sense to become an owner of your local ball club, as well as, contribute to the only baseball league for persons with disabilities here in our community."

By purchasing a share of the Diablos through iTeam Sports, fans are making dreams come true for the hundreds of children participating in El Paso’s Miracle League. Funds will be used towards uniforms, equipment and seed money for an endowment for a scholarship fund for players who can not afford the registration fee. This is made possible by iTeam Sports providing charities with guaranteed upfront money – ten percent of every share – plus all of iTeam Sports shareowners’ profit (based on a team’s profitability and the percentage of fans ownership of a team).
