Fall 2008 Film Schedule
Cinema Novo is proud to present its Fall 2008 film lineup. This semester’s film program includes tales of thievery, B-boys, politically charged cartoons, pet zombies, Koreans eaten alive by a monster, lots o Francais, and much more! Cinema Novo showcases cutting edge, foreign, independent and art films in 35mm format. Films are selected by a panel of film experts. Cinema Novo is made possible through a grant provided by the Texas Commission on the Arts.
Cinema Novo Films will show at the UTEP Union Cinema on Fridays and Saturdays during the semester (excluding football weekends). Tickets for each film are $2 for non-UTEP Students and $1 for UTEP students. Tickets will be sold prior to each film at the UTEP Union Cinema. Run Fat Boy Run (UK) November 21st and 22nd
Simon Peg plays Dennis a man deathly afraid of commitment and responsibility, who left his pregnant fiancé at the alter, now years later his ex-fiancé is about to marry another man. In order to keep his son and prove to his ex that he is responsible, he enters a marathon.
